About

"Seniors Minor Home Repair Program"
In 2014, former Houston City Council member Dwight Boykins created a program

to address the needs of seniors in his council district with minor home repairs.

As of 2021, the program assisted over 607 seniors intending to expand in addition to parts of Houston.
"My mother is a senior and by the Grace of God, she has boys to help her".

Houston Seniors are our precious assets with pride that keeps them from asking for help.

I assembled a board of directors (from the district) that focuses on their neighborhood. Once the application is approved, the contractor, board member, and homeowner meet at the repair location and agree to move forward.

In life you can never be too kind or too fair; everyone you meet is carrying a heavy load.
